An assessment driving lesson would be required to ascertain pupil's suitability for an intensive driving course.
Intensive driving courses tend to be more suitable for converting someone from driving a motorcycle to a car, or for those needing a refresher driving course after taking a break from driving lessons and already know the basics. Intensive lessons can also be a useful way of preparing for a re-test if someone new to us was not fully prepared for the first one, or if someone has a short notice / cancellation driving test booked.
Due to the waiting time to prepare for your theory test - pass your theory test and get a date booked for a practical driving test, it is usually less pressured to take a semi - intensive approach for two to six weeks.
(More lessons per week rather than more hours per day).
We would not recommend more than four hours driving a day, to be split as follows:
two hour lesson am - minimum of one hour break - two hour lesson pm.
From experience more practice than this is usually counter-productive as concentration levels decrease....
